Hi, I’m Jemimah Hiscox. I help people restore and improve their health through simple, purposeful movement.
In today’s sedentary world, many of us don’t move enough, which can affect strength, posture, and overall health. Moving well helps prevent injury, builds strength, improves sleep and mood, and keeps your body working better for longer.
At Moved Armidale, we focus on more than exercise. We help you notice areas of your body that don’t move as well, correct imbalances, and move with more ease and awareness every day.
Our approach is natural and functional, tailored to your body and lifestyle. Classes are small, friendly, and adaptable - you’ll get guidance that works for you, no matter your age or ability.
Moved isn’t a gym, Pilates studio, or yoga class. We teach fundamental movement skills you can use every day, whether exercising or doing daily tasks.
You’ll learn to understand your body, improve posture, and move with more confidence. Small adjustments to how you move can make a big difference in your long-term health.
Moved is for all bodies and all ages. Classes are tailored so movement works for your body at its current stage. Everyone moves at their own pace.

I’m a movement instructor with over a decade of experience and a Certificate IV in Fitness. My approach draws on many movement experts and techniques, especially the work of Katy Bowman and her focus on restorative, functional movement.
I also have a degree in secondary education, which helps me explain movement clearly and adapt guidance to each person’s needs.
I’m passionate about helping people move better at work and in everyday life, improving posture, alignment, and comfort while reducing strain and injury.
I continue to learn through specialised courses, research, and hands-on practice, with a focus on walking mechanics, joint health, and therapeutic mobility. This lets me support clients to improve movement, prevent injury, and feel more confident and comfortable in daily activities.
'At Moved Natural Movement Studio Armidale we acknowledge the Anaiwan people who are the Traditional Owners of the land where we move, live and work. We also pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.'
